So, last Thursday was my 24th birthday. The first one I have ever been able to spend with Husband and first one away from my family. It was one of those bittersweet days... It was awesome because, well, birthdays are awesome and I got Husband all to myself! But, at the same time, it was sad because I could not share it with my family.
What did I do for my "me" day? Well, I started it off with a 3 mile run and a phone call from Sister and Monkey. Then, Husband made me breakfast, we grabbed Starbucks, and spent a couple of hours at a park downtown. We had lunch at Which Wich (hello, tomato and avocado sandwich!), Skyped with my familly, went to dinner, and finished it off with "The Hunger Games" midnight showing! It was fantastic.
What is even more fantastic? I got TONS of freebies for my birthday!

However, for the freebies, I think it is worth it to deal with it for a few weeks and then unsubscribe for the ones you do not want anymore after you have received your FREE birthday goodies. Up to you... We saved a lot of money with some of these things AND it made my day that much more fun... FREE is FUN! Duh!
